My name is Jocelyn! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor trained in EMDR. I use a Holistic and Somatic approach to work with individuals 18+ affected by substance use disorders, as well as those managing trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment, and life transitions, and grief and loss. I also support clients and couples working through issues related to self-esteem, self-sabotaging behaviors, and developing a more compassionate relationship with themselves. I have experience working with military veterans, police officers, and their families, providing support as they navigate the unique emotional, psychological, and transitional challenges related to their service and reintegration into civilian life. Additionally, I enjoy working with older adults, supporting them as they navigate life transitions, grief, and changes in identity while maintaining emotional well-being.
I work with clients navigating a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges, and those looking to regulate their nervous system. My practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness-based techniques. In our sessions, you can expect me to ask about your sleep, diet, and eating patterns, self-care, physiological symptoms, mindfulness habits, and more.
My goal is to create a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change. Whether you’re seeking support for a specific issue or looking to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, I’m here to help you take the next step.
Fun fact: I have a cat named Leo that I rescued!
