Hi, I’m Angalena! I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults, and I enjoy helping clients navigate the challenges that can come with different stages of life.
Throughout my clinical experience, I have supported clients experiencing a range of mental health and life concerns, including anxiety, trauma and PTSD, bipolar disorder, grief and loss, ADHD, emotional and behavioral challenges, and life transitions. I recognize that every person’s experiences and needs are unique, and I strive to meet each client where they are while working collaboratively toward meaningful goals.
I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University. My therapeutic approach incorporates evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s individual needs. I specialize in Trauma and Grief Component Therapy for Adolescents (TGCTA), Multidimensional Grief Therapy (MGT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
Fun Fact: I am currently in yoga teacher training!
